Scelidosaurus
:
1. External antorbital fossa/fenestra is small.
2. Skull has some additional (non-supraorbital) osteoderms.
3. Partial cortical remodelling of the skull surface present and includes a small number of osteoderms.
4. Postorbital has a medial wall that partitions the orbit from the adductor chamber.
5. Prominent exostosis on the lateral surface of the mandible, but an overlying osteoderm may not be present (unless the
holotype
mandibles preserve remnants of a superficially placed osteoderm).
