REMARKS Monomorium barbatulum , distributed in southern part of European Russia , Arabian Peninsula, Israel and Central Asia ( Collingwood & Agosti 1996 ; Vonshak & Ionescu-Hirsch 2009; Collingwood et al. 2011 ; Dubovikoff & Yusupov 2017 ), was recently recorded in North of Iran very near to South of Turkey ( Ghahari et al. 2015 ). Iranian locality is very close to the Turkish one.
