Carapace without ridges, anterolateral angle serrate. Pseudorostrum blunt. Eyelobe with lenses. Antennule peduncle of 3 articles. Uropod peduncles longer than pleonites 4–6 together, exopod longer than endopod.

Telson
without subterminal setae.
Remarks.
Colurostylis longicauda
is most similar to
C. castlepointensis
and
C. pseudocuma
.
Colurostylis longicauda
is the only species of
Colurostylis
with a serrate anterolateral corner on the carapace, although it is possible that the adult male is lacking the serrate anterolateral corner. In addition, it is unique in the genus in the length of the uropods, with the peduncles longer than pleonites 4–6 together.
