Ecology.
Recorded in
Portugal
from different kinds of forests, and a riverbank. Most specimens were retrieved from a Mediterranean habitat with
Quercus suber
and
Quercus ilex
. In northwestern Europe, this species is restricted to bare shallow banks of dune slacks and lakes on sandy soil (
Pollet 2000
).
