Etymology.
The specific epithet is a patronym in honor of Dr. W. Wesolowska, who has made great contributions in studies of jumping spiders from Africa.
Diagnosis.
Differs from other
Thyenula
species by the combination of following characters: male palp with wide proximal tegular lobe, relatively small embolic disc and thick embolus (
Figs 97–98
); vulva with wide copulatory duct and round spermatheca (
Fig. 101
).

Description.
Male
(
holotype
, UBC-SEM AR00199). Carapace length 1.5; abdomen length 1.6. Chelicera: with two promarginal teeth and one retromarginal tooth. Palp (

): yellow brown. Embolus long and coiled for more than half a circle; retrolateral sperm duct loop very wide almost occupying full width of bulb; proximal tegular lobe relatively large; retrolateral tibial apophysis long and finger-like. First leg with three pairs of ventral macrosetae on tibia and two pairs of ventral macrosetae on metatarsus. Measurements of legs: I 3.5, II 2.5, III 2.6, IV 3.2. Color in alcohol (

): carapace with eye area dark brown, posterior part dark yellow brown; dorsal abdomen gray brown to dark brown, with yellowish brown speckles and markings; first pair of legs dark brown, other legs light yellow brown with brown annuli.
