Remarks: The type specimen was collected on Raoul Island in 1908 by Tom Iredale ( Iredale 1913 ). Material collected previously from the Kermadec Islands was identified as Tornatellina subperforata Suter, 1909 by Suter (1909: 263) and Suter (1913b: 770) .
