Diagnosis:
Body moderately high with postero-dorsal angle ill defined or completely absent, head capsule of ‘chydorid-type’ (strongly compressed dorso-ventrally), head shield with acute rostrum, valves without marginal setae, antenna II relatively long, mandible attached to point of joint of head shield and valve.
