However, the other morphological characters are similar to those in A. bevisi , a member of Amblypsilopus fasciatus species group. Therefore, the A. mufindiensis species group must be also considered a part of the A. pallidicornis lineage as defined by Bickel (1994) . Notes Amblypsilopus mufindiensis and A. martini compose the A. mufindiensis species group, both species found on the Tanzanian highlands at a distance of about 400 km from each other.
