Notes based on study of photographs of holotype of type species.
Head.
Gulamentum finely wrinkled between lower eye lobes; glabrous toward prothorax. Distance between upper eye lobes shorter than width of one lobe. Antennae about 1.5 times body length; reaching elytral apex at middle of antennomere VI; short abundant setae evenly distributed throughout; antennomeres III–IV with elongated setae at internal side; V–XII slightly decreasing in length.
Thorax.
Prothorax about 1.2 times longer than wide. Prosternum irregularly wrinkled. Mesoventral process narrow, with apical lateral lobes. Scutellum with pubescence on posterior margin; surface with sparsely distributed pubescence.
Elytra long, about 3.7 times length of prothorax, erect elongated setae sparsely distributed; apex individually rounded.
Legs.
Femora with sparse setae; tibiae with setae more abundant than on femora; meso- and metatarsomere I as long as II + III.
Abdomen.
Ventrites indistinctly separate; ventrite I with post-coxal carina.
