Affinities. The male of M. rivierae is very similar in habitus to the female. It can be distinguished from the other Microselia species by the hair palisade on mid tibia which reaches the apical part of the segment and by the shape of left lobe of epandrium. The male specimens were collected together with a female (see faunistic data). Material examined. Israel : 1 3, Nizzanim, C1, 01 .II.2004 C. Grach; 3, same but D1; 2 3, same but D7 ( TAU ).
