Schintlmeister ; 1 ♁ Azerbaijan , Talysh , Kalahan / Zuvand , 1600 m , 31.viii.–1.ix.1992 , ex coll. Schintlmeister. Redescription . Head . Frons and vertex are densely covered with light brown hair. Eyes EI 0.68. Antennae of nearly half forewing length with short segments and 36–37 pecten. Thorax . Wings. Wingspan 22–25 mm , forewing length 10–11 mm . Wings short, costal margin straight, slightly concave at the base. Apex roundish, termen oblique, posterior margin straight. FI 1.83. Covered with greyish-brown hair-like and weak lanceolate scales mixed with short, bifurcated scales. The costal margin is darker brownish and more densely scaled. Hindwings of the same colour. Abdomen . Protruding the hindwings, slender and densely covered with hair. Male genitalia . GP 4167 ( Fig. 40 ). Resembles O. taurica but tegumen less pointed, more roundish, and clasper of the sacculus only with 6–7 inwardly directed short spines. Female. Unknown. Larval case. Unknown. Distribution . First described from the north-western part of Azerbaijan where a couple of males have been collected at the foothills of the Caucasus range. Now it has also been collected in the Talysh district in South-East Azerbaijan .
