MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Banc Arago, BENTHAUS, stn DW 1973, 23°23.5’S , 150°43.9’W , 200-350 m , 1 dd ( Fig. 10A, B ). DISTRIBUTION. — West Pacific. From southern Japan to the Philippines , 100-200 m , “rocks” ( Higo et al. 1999: 221 ). Norfolk Ridge, alive in 390-540 m ( Oliverio 2008b ). Austral Islands, one empty shell in 200- 350 m . REMARKS The single shell is worn and partly damaged, but it is easily identified. This is a significant extension eastward of its range.
