then rounding to anterior angle, canaliculate; anterior angle angulate, not produced; posterior angle acute; anterior margin emarginate behind head; disc transversely convex, virtually impunctate; surface moderately punctate laterally; basal impression absent; pronotal length 1.0-1.2 mm; pronotal width 1.6-1.8 mm. Scutellum: pentagonal; impunctate. Elytron: lateral margin straight, smooth, margined; apex rounded, smooth; sutural angle without tooth; humerus rounded, not produced; slightly constricted behind humerus; subconvex; shallowly punctate-striate; elytral length 4.0-4.2 mm; elytral width 2.2-2.4 mm. Venter: prosternum punctate medially, alutaceous laterally; meso- and metasterna punctate; abdominal sterna punctate, each puncture with pale seta; suture between sterna 1 and 2 complete; last sternite with apical margin bisinuate. Leg: robust; punctate; femur and tibia with pale seta in each puncture; tibia with fringe of setae on inner margin of apex. Total length: 5.2-5.6 mm.
Diagnosis.
This species is similar to
Cephaloleia caeruleata
and
Cephaloleia diplothemium
. It can be distinguished by the cylindrical antennomere 1 which is longer than 3, by the elytral punctures being the same size laterally, and by the prosternum being alutaceous laterally.
Distribution.
