Length (including forewing): 10.0 mm. External morphology. Body dark brown. Crown ( Fig. 33 ) slightly shorter than maximum width. Face ( Fig. 32 ) shorter than width including eyes, lateral margins of gena concave and apex acute. Pronotum ( Fig. 33 ) with posterior margin slightly wider than anterior margin, maximum length shorter than width of anterior margin, posterior margin moderately concave. Exposed part of mesonotum and scutellum ( Fig. 30 ) about as long as wide, swollen parts not very evident. Forewing ( Fig. 30 ) with taupe smudges on apical cells. Abdomen with pair of irregular yellow regions on 3th and 4th tergites laterally. FIGURES 25–29. Kalasha nativa Distant , female: 25. First valvula; 26. Apex of first valvula; 27. Second valvula; 28. ( Figs. 34–42 ) Pygofer ventral process ( Fig. 41 ) with base broad and flat, extended mesad, branches short and nearly parallel, relatively well separated from each other in ventral view, lateral branch above and about 2.0x longer than central one in lateral view, approximately six microsetae present on base of branches. Subgenital plate ( Figs. 38, 39 ) about half as long as pygofer side. Connective ( Figs. 35, 40, 42 ) length about 1.5x width, vertical process apex slightly exceeding anterior margin in dorsal view. Style ( Figs. 35, 40, 42 ) slightly more than 2.5x longer than connective, apophysis disc-like and curved horizontally with five setae on ventral surface. Aedeagus ( Figs. 34, 40 ) depressed in middle on dorsal surface, sides convex and rugose on apical half of dorsal surface, shaft short and relatively broad, gonopore at apex, preatrium swollen ventrally. Female. Unknown. Material examined. Holotype , Tonkin , VI 1941 , Mt. Bavi , 800~ 1000m , leg. A. De Cooman ( IZCAS ). Distribution. Viet Nam (misreported as “ China : Tonkin ” in the original description). Remarks. This species is distinctly smaller than type species K. nativa Distant, 1908 .
