Notes.
Exotic. The nesting biology has been well studied as
M. rotundata
is actively managed for alfalfa pollination (
Hurd 1979
;
Pitts-Singer & Cane 2011
). It was found in abundance in trap-nests placed on MSU campus, East Lansing, Michigan (JG, pers. obs.).
