Diagnosis.
Xenomerus ochraceus
shares the incomplete central keel with
X. guinensis
, differing by dense setae on frons, thick basal depressions and short costae on T3, not extending to middle of tergum. Most closely related to
X. yamagishi
, differs by incomplete central keel and thick basal depressions on T3.
Etymology.
The species name refers to body color.

is one of the most widely distributed and perhaps the most variable
Xenomerus
species
from
South Africa
to
Indonesia
.
