Photophilic algae;

rhizomes; sand; gravel; inside sponges and corals.
Remarks.
The
holotype
of
D. longisetosa
was very opaque. Thus, it was not possible to observe clearly the denticled arc without dissecting it. However, all other characters agree with
E. lamelligera
, specially the chaetae, aciculae and laminar ventral cirri and so we assume that they are synonymous. An epigamic specimen showed a distinct dorsal colour pattern, with brown bands alternating with intersegmental, yellow-pigmented zones.
