DC., sed ab eo ramulis juvenilibus quadrangularibus et anguste alatis (non teretibus), petiolis brevioribus 1–2 mm (non 2–3 mm ) longis, laminis foliaribus minoribus 1–3 × 0.5–2 cm (non 6–7 × 2.5–3 cm ), floribus minoribus hypantho-calyce 1.5 × 1.75 mm (non 2 × 2 mm ), petalis 2 × 0.8 mm (non 3 × 1.5 mm ), filamentis 1.5 mm (non 3–3.5 mm ) longis, stylo 4 mm (non 8 mm ) longo et fructus corona calycina absente (non prominente) differt.
