Diagnosis. Head with black stripe between forehead and interocellar zone ( Figs 22–24 ); mesosoma extensively marked with black ( Figs 22–23 ); mesoscutum, mesopleuron and scutellum without yellow marks, mesoscutellum sparsely punctate ( Fig. 25 ); propodeum with posterior transverse carina present ( Fig. 26 ); fore wing with darkened apex ( Fig. 27 ) ( Gauld 2000 ). The specimen was collected with a Malaise-type flight interception trap at ground level in secondary forest. The vegetation of the collection site corresponds to Amazonian lowland forest. Hosts.
