Diagnosis
. This species is characterized by a dark head, body, and wings with a prominent, pale pronotal stripe. The ocelli are separated by twice their width and the aedeagus is sclerotized with a truncate apex. Females are characterized by the eight sternum having a deep median notch, with paramedian lobes being longer and thinner than lateral lobes.

) medially dark brown, anteriorly light yellow with conspicuous spots of the same color as integument, laterally with clear areas between the base of antennae and ocelli; frons dark brown medially, light yellow anteriorly, and with conspicuous spots of the same color as integument anterolaterally, extending laterally to base of antennae and anteriorly to ocelli; ocelli separated by approximately twice their width. Scape, pedicel, and flagellum dark yellow to black; maxillar and labial palpi uniformly dark yellow. Pronotum light yellow medially with wide lateral margins and narrow posterior margins dark brown (

). Meso– and metanotum with dark brown protuberances outlined in black. Legs dark brown ventrally with yellow spots medially; coxa and trochanter light yellow; femora anteriorly dark brown, posteriorly light brown with longer posteroventral bristles; tibia medially light yellow, without basal and apical brown spot. Fore– and hindwings with costal and distal areas infuscated with brown (

). Abdomen light yellow with margins of segments slightly darker; cerci dark brown with long lateral bristles and usually with last segment light yellow; sternum nine (

) wider than long with longer lateral and medial bristles, posterior margin projected medially; hammer (

) rounded in ventral view, flattened in lateral view, approximately
0.1 mm
long; paraproct (

) wider at base with longer bristles basally and medially and short subapical denticle. Aedeagus with a relatively short, truncate apex, without a keel (

). Penial armature with hooks short, folded forward (

Female. Similar in coloration to male (

). Sternum eight with four lobes, median notch deeper and paramedial lobes longer than lateral ones (

). Sternum nine with longer and denser submedian bristles and short median bristles extending anteriorly (
