(Figs 29–40) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group “1”, subgroup 1, in the classification of Eertmoed (1986) . Differing from C. ramulosus , C. arboricola and C. panchei n. sp. , by having the paraproctal prong with a short preapical tooth (Fig. 33). The female has the subgenital plate posteriorly concave, with postero-lateral corners rounded, setose ( Fig. 40 ). Male. Color . Head (Fig. 31) dark brown, anteclypeus, postclypeus and labrum pale brown. Compound eyes dark brown, ocelli hyaline. Antennae brown, flagellomeres with clear distal ends; maxillary palps pale brown. Meso- and metanotum brown, thoracic pleura and legs pale brown. Forewing membrane hyaline, with brownsmoked spots on wing margin between the ends of veins R2+3 and Cu1a (Fig. 29); membrane of pterostigma with little brown spots (Fig. 29); veins pale brown, with brown spots along the veins and at wing margin. Hindwing hyaline with a brown spot on vein ends, and four spots on wing margin between M and Cu1 (Fig. 30). Abdomen brown, clunium and hypandrium pale brown; epiproct cream, paraproct cream, paraproctal prong dark brown. Morphology. As in diagnosis plus the following: head vertex almost straight (Fig. 31); compound eyes large, D is 60% the length of the head in front view; with interommatidial setae. Forewings (Fig. 29); membrane pterostigma with setae, Rs, M and Cu1 with spur veins. Hypandrium shield-shaped, broad, distally rounded, with medium sized setae and lateral macrosetae. Epiproct trapeziform (Fig. 32), slightly concave posteriorly, with three macrosetae mesally and one near each postero-lateral corner, posterior setal field as illustrated. Paraprocts (Fig. 33) with medium sized setae and macrosetae on long, stout mesal process as illustrated; mesal prong stout, strongly sclerotized; sensory fields with 20 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Phallosome elongate, almost straight anteriorly; external parameres rounded, membranous, without pores; endophallic lobes sclerotized, hood shaped; internal parameres absent (Fig. 34). Measurements. Essentially as in the male; forewings hyaline, with smoked spots as in the male ( Fig. 35 ). Subgenital plate brown, epiproct, paraprocts and genital valvulae pale brown. Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 37 ) with upper border of the compound eyes below the level of the vertex, compound eyes smaller than in the males, D is 39% the length of the head in front view, narrower than the interocular distance (0.49); with interommatidial setae; forewings as in the male. Epiproct ( Fig. 38 ) bell-shaped, with three macrosetae mesally and four distal macrosetae; abundant medium sized setae distally, as illustrated. Paraprocts ( Fig. 38 ) oval, with setae as illustrated, sensory fields with 18 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Subgenital plate densely setose ( Fig. 40 ). Gonapophyses ( Fig. 39 ), slender and distally acuminate, with abundant microsetae distally; v2 +3 with row of four macrosetae.
