Collection and Habitat data.
The NH specimens were captured from May to July by flight intercept traps, and by splashing a river bank. Both sites were in river floodplains, one (Bedell Bridge) is an old-growth silver maple floodplain. In

found in litter at the base of a tree in a silver maple swamp, captured by Lindgren funnel traps in a silver maple swamp, in flood debris along river margins, in moss near waterfalls, in garden on bare soil in forested residential area, among decaying corncobs and cornhusks near a home in a forested residential area, in hedgerow in agricultural fields, pastures, and blueberry fields (

In Europe reported from synanthropic habitats such as urban meadows, lawns, fallow areas, gardens, strip mines, and in pioneer vegetation; it is also found in swamps, bogs, flood plains, riverbanks, meadows, grasslands, in leaf litter, moss, grass, compost, rotting debris, and under reeds and ferns (
