Remarks
.
Chydaeus semenowi
is a common species, widely distributed over the Himalayan region. It was known from
India
[Uttarakhand (cited as Uttar Pradesh), Sikkim, West Bengal],
Nepal
,
Bhutan
and
China
(southern Tibet and western Yunnan) (Kataev & Schmidt 2001, 2006;
Kataev
et al
. 2012
). The species is recorded here from the Indian state Arunachal Pradesh and from the directly adjacent mountain near Cona in southern Tibet (
China
) for the first time. Additional westernmost localities from the Indian state Uttarakhand are also given.
