A remaining syntype is stored in the collection of the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, coll. no. 638787. Remarks. Classified within the marine genus Bulliopsis Conrad, 1862 ( Nassariidae ) by Harris (1899 : 58) and Allmon (1990 : 53).
