[
Spirobolus
].
Mexico, Cordillera orientalis. Unspecified number of ♂ and ♀.
Saussure & Humbert (1872) gave a more detailed redescription, the type locality “Sierra de Moyoapan” and indicated that they had three ♂ and three ♀.
Carl (1919)
redescribed the species and illustrated the gonopods. The MHNG collection contains parts of at least seven specimens in alcohol under the name
Chelogonobolus nahuus
. The specimens are in two vials and a third vial contains a damaged pair of gonopods. There is no data label but there is a label indicating that the specimens were studied by Carl for the 1919 publication and therefore include syntypes.
