Vera-Cruz. Unspecified series. Saussure (1860) gave a more detailed redescription of both sexes. The MHNG collection contains a ♂ in alcohol under the name Orthoporus montezumae and a ♀ in alcohol under the name Spirostreptus montezumae . The ♂ is labelled as holotype but because the type series was unspecified it should be considered as a syntype. The ♀ is identified as montezumae var. and may not be a syntype. There is a further syntype in the MNHN (MY4388) according to their online database. Orthoporus montezumae (Saussure, 1859)
