In the past, pear psyllids have been misidentified repeatedly in the literature ( Burckhardt & Hodkinson 1986 ; Luo et al. 2012 ; Cho et al . 2017b , 2020 ). Cacopsylla jukyungi was reported from Korea also under the names Cacopsylla chinensis , C. pyricola , C. sandolbaea , Caccopsylla [sic] pyricola , Psylla jukyungi and Psylla ( Hepatopsylla ) jukyungi .
