Description.

Relation to host.
Vagrant on leaf undersurface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology.
The specific designation
funali
is from the Latin word “funalis”, means taper, to describe the body shape of the new species.
Differential diagnosis.
This species is similar to
R. acilius
Keifer, 1939
b, but can be differentiated from the latter by dorsal annuli with spiny microtubercles projecting posteriad from the rear annular margin (dorsal microtubercles on rear annular margin in
R. acilius
), 5-rayed tarsal empodium of each leg (tarsal empodium 9- rayed in
