This species has a wide distribution in Indo-Malaya, Africa, and
Australia
, and has been recorded from
Samoa
. Not previously recorded in
Guam
.
We found it abundant on
Scirpus lacustris
in a few places: Sasa, June 20, Usinger;
Sumay Road, June 22, Swezey;
Agana swamp, June 26, Swezey.
