Length about 1.3 mm. General colour dark-reddish-brown to black. Head as long as wide; frons weakly coriaceus; ocelli distinct; eye glabrous; median clypeal lobe conspicuous, longer than lateral ones; antenna with 12 segments, scape 2.0 × longer than pedicel, pedicel longer than first flagellomere. Pronotum weakly coriaceous; mesonotum shorter than pronotal dorsal area; notauli absent; mesoscuto-mesoscutellar suture sulcate. Metapectal-propodeal disc as long as wide; metapostnotal median carina indistinct. Wings nearly hyaline; forewing with pterostigma light brown. Metasoma polished. Male. Unknown. Material examined. Holotype : [ INDIA ], Bihar , Pusa , from wheat, 23-XI-1935 , L. Nigam coll. Type conditions. Holotype completely dissected and mounted on two slides. On slides : S1 C1—Head with scape, mesosoma with coxae attached and metasoma. S1 C2—Six legs (one without tarsi and one with few segments missing), one antenna without scape, pedicel with five flagellomeres, apical flagellomeres missing, second antenna with radicle, scape, pedicel, four flagellomeres, a partial fifth flagellomere. S2 C1—one forewing. Remarks. The holotype is a female, not a male as described by Kurian. The slides of the holotype are also mistakenly labeled as male. Hosts. Unknown.
