Holotype labelled ' Sivas TUR. December 1990 Doğanlar' / ' Asphodelus sp. seed capsules' / ' Holotype Puklina gelincika Doğanlar 1991 ' [red label] / Zoologische Staatsammlung München Type-No.: ZSM- Hym-00106' / 'GBIF-ChalclSD ID: ChalD0167' (in ZSM). Paratype , same data as holotype (in ZSM). This species was reared in Turkey from seeds of an unidentified Asphodelus together with a Bruchophagus . It is most probably, like P. depilata , a parasitoid of the Bruchophagus . We did not find this species in our study area. It seems to have a more easterly distribution than P. depilata .
