Female. Body length 2.72–2.74 mm , width 0.80–0.84 mm , elongate, smaller than female of Z. myrmecophilus ( Fig. 16A, B ). Antennal length 1.00– 1.02 mm , elongate, clearly narrower than that of Z. myrmecophilus , relative length (width) of each antennomere from base to apex to width of antennomere I: 0.8 (1.0); 1.1 (0.7); 1.0 (0.6); 0.8 (0.6); 0.8 (0.6); 0.6 (0.6); 0.7 (0.6); 0.6 (0.6); 0.9 (0.7); 0.9 (0.8); 2.5 (1.1) ( Fig. 17D ). Maxillary palpi elongate and curved, palpomere IV largest, slightly longer than II, nearly fusiform ( Fig. 17C ). Abdominal tergite IV large and transverse, slightly narrower than elytra, clearly shorter than tergite V ( Fig. 17G ). Distribution. North Island. Coromandel (CL), Wellington (WN). Host Ant. Austroponera castanea (Ponerinae) . Remarks. This species, known only from females, is easily separable from Z. myrmecophilus by the smaller body, narrower antennae, and very short fourth abdominal segment. Specimens Examined.
