Dicerogastraeuxoides iseasierdistinguishedfromtheotherHimalayan sPecies, D. costigerodes ( Figs 3–6 ) byitssmallersize (wingsPan 32–34 mmand 37–39 mm , resPectively), muchlessProminentforewingcostalstriPeand whitishdefinedantemedialandPostmedialcrosslines, themoresinuousand lesssharPlymarkedsubterminallineand, lastbutnotleast, bythealmost unicolorousbrownhindwingwithwell- visibledarkcellularlunule. Thedifferentialdiagnosisof D. euxoides and D. jensergabori isgivenundertheDiagnosisofthelattersPecies. Malegenitalia ( Figs 19–22 ) – ComParingthemaleclasPingaPParatuses ofthethreecloselyrelatedsPecies, D. euxoides hasthesmallestcucullus, largestandmostventro- aPicallyProjectedamPulla, andthelongestsPinesatbase ofharPe. Additionally, thevesicaof D. euxoides isarmedbyveryshort, ter- minallyPositionedcornutifieldwhereasitismuchlongerintheothertwo sPeciesandneverlocatedatthePosteriorendofthevesica. Figs 21–24. Distribution – ThenewsPeciesisknownfromthesouth-easternborders oftheTibetanPlateauinChina, fromYunnanandSichuan. Thisdistribution PatternhelPsthecorrectidentification, sincenosymPatricoccurrencewith thesouthernHimalayansPecieshithertodescribedisknown. Etymology – ThesPecificnamereferstothesuPerficialsimilarityofthemalegeni- taliawiththoseofthe Euxoa Hübner, 1821 sPecies. TheverylongsPine- bundleandthe longPenicularhair- tuftresemblesinamacroscoPicviewthetwocharacteristicsclerotised Processes (amPullaandsacculareXtension) ofan Euxoa clasPingaPParatus.
