It has been reported to feed on ‘grasses’ ( Van Someren 1974 ) and ‘grasses generally’ ( Sevastopulo 1975 ), although Sevastopulo (unpublished) does not seem to have reared it himself. Subsequent authors repeat this information, but we have not traced any more details.
