Notes.

This
species is found in
Cameroon
and Democratic Republic of Congo, and its subspecies have separate ranges (
VERDCOURT
, 1977
).
The
holotype
of
Psychotria coffeosperma
was certainly at the
B
herbarium and has been destroyed.
Several
duplicates of the type collection are deposited in other herbaria, and the best sheet, with ample material and both flowers and fruits, is here designated as the
lectotype
.
