There are several records from the Volta Region of Ghana ( Grubb 1971 ; Decher & Abedi-Lartey 2002) Its presence in Togo is also listed in the African Chiroptera Report ( ACR 2015 ) . Rhinolophus eloquensis K. Andersen, 1905 REMARK A voucher of this species originating from Bismarckburg (Adéle) is presently stored in the ZMB. Both IUCN (2014) and Simmons (2005) do not account Togo as a presence country. Indeed, this species is recorded in East Africa ( Simmons 2005 ). Therefore, the correct identification of the ZMB voucher should be carefully investigated. Rhinolophus fumigatus Rüppell, 1842 VOUCHERS. — Sixty-eight specimens were collected by the African Mammal Project from Dapaong and Pewa ( Robbins 1980 ; NMNH), four voucher specimens were collected at Aledjo ( De Vree et al. 1969 , 1970 , 1996). REMARK The West African taxon, inhabiting Senegal and Sierra Leone , is R. diversus Sanborn, 1939 ( Grubb et al. 1998 ), whereas in Togo the present taxon should be R. foxi Thomas, 1913 . Rhinolophus landeri Martin, 1838 HISTORICAL LITERATURE. — Recorded from Atakpamé and Namoundjoga ( De Vree et al. 1969 , 1970 ).
