Bisaltes adustus ; Bruch, 1912: 209 (cat.). Bisaltes ( Bisaltes ) argentiniensis Breuning, 1971b: 285 . Syn. nov. Remarks. Bisaltes ( Bisaltes ) adustus (see photographs on Bezark 2022a ) was described based on a single specimen from Argentina ( Tucumán ). Monné (2022) and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2021) report that the species was described based on syntypes . However, there is no evidence of this in the original description. Breuning (1971b) described B. argentinensis (see photograph on Bezark 2022a ) from Argentina ( Salta ). Comparing the original descriptions, specimens of B. ( B. ) adustus , and a photograph of the holotype of B. argentinensis , we did not find a reliable difference. Therefore, B. ( B. ) argentinensis is synonymized with B. ( B. ) adustus .
