, Larva: A. frontoclypeal apotome; B. antenna; C. mandible; D. mentum.
Female.
Unknown.
Distribution.
This species was previously recorded from the State of Amazonas,
Brazil
; in the present study the range is extended to include the State of São Paulo,
Brazil
.
Comments.
The submerged wood was collected in first-order streams protected by riparian vegetation and characterized by rocky beds and clear water in the Atlantic Forest. In the laboratory, the wood was fragmented and the larvae found inside were reared individually in separate containers.
