( Figs. 4B , 8D–F , 11F , 16C, 16D , 33 ) Diagnosis. This species differs from the other species of the genus Leucophenga in lacking the postocellar seta; with a long seta (nearly equal to ocellar setae in length) above ocellar setae ( Fig. 8D ); Orb 3 located behind Orb 2 , separated by distance nearly 1/3 of that between Orb 2 and Orb 1 ( Fig. 8D ); wing apically pointed ( Fig. 4B ); surstylus lacking pubescence and seta except for its margin ( Fig. 33A ); aedeagus wrinkled, mediolaterally with a slender process ( Fig. 33D ). Description. Body large. Ocellar triangle brown, with ca. 1 small seta above ocellar setae. Frons brownish ( Fig. 8D ). Pedicel brownish yellow; first flagellomere dark yellow ( Fig. 8D ). Clypeus entirely brownish yellow. Palpus dark yellow ( Fig. 8D ). Mesonotum mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 8E ). Postpronotal lobe dark yellow ( Fig. 8F ). Scutellum mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 8E ). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 14–16 irregular rows ( Fig. 8E ). Pleura, katepisternum, and mesopleuron mostly dark yellow ( Fig. 8F ). Wing ( Fig. 4B ): clouded distally; costal vein between R 2+3 and R 4+5 distally with ca. 5 or 6 peg-like spinules on ventral surface; R 4+5 and M 1 slightly convergent distally; halter yellow, with dark yellow to brownish yellow patches at stem and knob ( Fig. 8F ). Abdominal tergites black, 2nd tergite yellow anteriorly, medially and laterally, 3rd tergite mostly yellow except for sublateral region, setigerous laterally and on posterior submedial margin, 4th tergite yellow anteriorly in males ( Fig. 11F ). Male terminalia: Epandrium lacking pubescence, with ca. 9 setae medially per side ( Fig. 33A ). Cercus lacking pubescence ( Fig. 33A ). Paramere rounded basally and apically, with ca. 6 sensilla dorsally ( Fig. 33C ). Measurements and indices.
