O. hookeri iS broadly diStributed in Central, Southern and SoutheaSt ASia aS well aS in the Pacific Region ( KrugloV & StarobogatoV 1993b ). SometimeS it haS been placed into the genuS Austropeplea Cotton, 1942 ( Ponder & WaterhouSe 1997 ; PuSlednik et al . 2009), whereaS KrugloV & StarobogatoV (1993b) claSSified it within Orientogalba .
