Type species:— Mooraboolomyces wintlei C.P. Hull, A.S. Urquhart & A. Idnurm. Description:— Distinguished by DNA sequence variation with other genera (see information below) because growth in vitro is similar to other genera in the Mucorales , producing abundant mycelia and aerial asexual sporangia.
