Distribution.
This eastern species ranges from
"Vermont"
(Hayward 1897: 72) and southwestern Massachusetts (Hampden County, MCZ) to
"Illinois"
(Hayward 1897: 72), south to northern and eastern Tennessee (Cheatham, Fentress, and Sevier Counties, CMNH, MCZ). The record from southern Wisconsin (Rauterberg 1885: 22) needs confirmation; those from Missouri (Summers 1873: 147) and the Rocky Mountains in northern Colorado (Wickham 1902: 232) must be in error.
