Ormyrus cupreus Askew, 1998 Material examined: East-Azarbaijan , Khosro-shahr, 1346m , N 37º 58' 28" & E 46º 02' 55" , 6.viii.2008 , Malaise trap, (H. Lotfalizadeh), 3Ψ & 5ɗ. This species was described as an ectoparasitoid associated with galls of Eurytoma gallephedrae Askew (Eurytomidae) on Ephedra nebrodensis in Spain ( Askew and Blasco-Zumeta 1998 ). It belongs to the orientalis group, the female gaster having a median dorsal longitudinal carina divided by a fine groove, and it is closely related to O. orientalis .
