Host range.
The species was raised from larvae of
Byctiscus betulae
(Linnaeus, 1758) (

) in the leaves of
Populus tremula
L. rolled up like a cigar (

Loni et al. (2016)
obtained three males (two in October 2014 and one in October 2015) by EGVM larvae feeding on
Daphne gnidium
in the Nature Reserve of San Rossore (Pisa).
