Diagnosis.
1st tarsomere of foreleg with white end, 4th and 5th tarsomeres infuscate; epandrium bilobate, each roughly rectangular; parameres club-shaped, round and transparent apically; conical part of hypandrium papillary at dorsal view.
Description. Male
. Body length
12.8 mm
, wing length 7.0 mm. Head uniformly dark brown, with silvery pollen. Hairs on head black. Compound eyes dark brown without pubescence. Antenna about
7 mm
in length, as long as wings, with 20 segments; hairs on antenna white. Proboscis pale white. Palpus with 1st and 2nd segments pale white, 3rd to 5th segments infuscate, with black hairs.
Thoracic dorsum uniformly dark brown, except pronotum pale brown and with silvery pollen laterally. Mesopleuron dark brown with silvery pollen. Thorax mostly bare, only scutellum with dense patches of hairs on anterior margin. Coxae and trochanters of all legs pale white. Femora on all legs pale brown at base, gradually and slightly darkened distally. Tibiae dark brown. 1st tarsomere of foreleg dark brown with white band distally. 1st tarsomere of midleg and hindleg dark brown. All legs with 2nd and 3rd tarsomeres white; 4th and 5th tarsomeres infuscated. Claws dark brown. Hairs on legs black, except 2nd to 5th tarsomeres with white hairs. Wing (

) narrow, about 4.5 times as long as wide, subhyaline. Veins brown. Wing with indistinct marking at distal part of R1, apical area of wing with macrotrichia. Base of haltere pale white, club dark brown, with black hairs. Prehaltere pale white with white hairs.
Abdomen mostly dark brown, except posterior margins of 2nd to 7th segments pale brown. Hairs on abdomen black.
Male genitalia (

): Epandrium bilobate, each roughly rectangular, posteromedian triangular area of epandrium with short hairs; dorsal process of epandrium finger-like, convergent medially with long hairs apically; lateral process of epandrium long, finger-like, slightly curved inward medially, tapered and black apically and with several long bristles on dorsal surface. Gonocoxite as long as gonostylus. Gonostylus finger-like, curved inward, broad basally and round apically, with 7–8 long bristles on dorsal surface. Parameres club-shaped, transparent. Aedeagus short, strongly sclerotized. Conical part of hypandrium papillary at dorsal view, strongly sclerotized at edge, with short strong bristles.
