Collection and habitat data.
Little was previously known about the habitat associations of
Erichsonius parcus
. The specimens from New Brunswick were collected from the wall of an abandoned beaver lodge occupied by muskrats. In Rhode Island (USA) (Washington Co., 2 mi S of Shannock,

, 22.IV.2007), three specimens were sifted from moist leaves on the margin of a vernal pond (Webster, unpublished data) in a red maple swamp.
