Little was previously known about the habitat associations of Erichsonius parcus . The specimens from New Brunswick were collected from the wall of an abandoned beaver lodge occupied by muskrats. In Rhode Island (USA) (Washington Co., 2 mi S of Shannock, 41.4270°N , 71.6039°W , 22.IV.2007), three specimens were sifted from moist leaves on the margin of a vernal pond (Webster, unpublished data) in a red maple swamp. Distribution in Canada and Alaska. ON, NB ( Brunke and Marshall 2011 ). Erichsonius parcus was reported from Massachusetts, south to Virginia, South Carolina, and Louisiana in the USA by Frank (1975) . Map 33.
