Espírito Santo : Reserva Florestal da CVRD, Linhares, 15 March 1989 , G. Farias 258 ( holotype MBML!, isotype NY!). Leaves pinnae 3(3–4) per side of rachis. Inflorescences rachillae 9(5–15), 4.3(3.7–5.0) mm in diameter, densely hairy, not filiform and not narrowed between the flower pits; proximal and distal lips drying the same color as the rachillae; flower pits mostly spirally arranged. Distribution and habitat:— From 18°04’– 19°10’S and 39°33’– 40°24’W in the Atlantic Coastal Forest of Brazil in southern Bahia and northern Espírito Santo at 35(30–40) m elevation in lowland rainforest ( Fig. 34 ).
