Scazzina. Host: Plesiopelma longisternale (Schiapelli and Gerschman) ( Theraphosidae ), adult or subadult female. The wasp examined the paralyzed tarantula as it laid on its left side on the ground. She then dragged the paralyzed tarantula backwards across a dirt road, grasping the base of its right foreleg with her mandibles ( Scazzina 2022 ). Pepsis aciculata has been reported previously with Plesiopelma longisternale and Grammostola vachoni Schiapelli and Gerschman in Argentina ( Copperi et al. 2011 ).
