The wasp pursued the potential host spider on the ground through dense undergrowth ( Tejada Sartorius 2020 ). Five of six host records for H . toussainti from Costa Rica and Mexico are for species of Ctenidae or Trechaleidae , including Cupiennius ( Kurczewski et al. 2020 ) . There is one other record of Cupiennius salei from Pueblo, Mexico ( Kurczewski et al. 2020 ).
