Remarks
A widespread species, occurring from
the Argentine
Neuquén Province in the north to the Chilean Magallanes Province in the south. The subgeneric assignment is not clear.
Besch (1964)
assigned it to the typical subgenus.
Cook (1980)
placed it in the subgenus
Corticacarides
, but later
Cook (1988)
came to a different conclusion, and left it without subgeneric assignment.
